Extreme Soldiers At War
In December of 2008, I joined a gaming clan. I was very unimpressed with PHP-Nuke, and how it was visually designed, so I started a new design in June of 2009. The conceptual design was scrapped about a month into the project, and we came up with the new design you see today.
The site has numerous widgets that are tied into our daily operations (most are not visible to the general public). These include a Ventrilo widget to see who's on Vent, a TWL widget to let us know about the current status of any upcoming matches, and a calendar for internal dates of interest. It also has several public widgets, such as our Xfire widget that shows which friends are online, the donation box, and the shout box. Every widget, with the exception of the donation widget can be turned off by the user to help clean up their space.

- Cleanly tied into the FluxBB forum software (mainly handles the users and permissions).
- As with every site I build, it is both XHTML valid and CSS2 valid.
